Variable tree from multi-stemmed shrub-like specimens of 8 m to tall trees of 30 m high with greyish-green bipinnate leaves. Bears cream ball-shaped flowers in spring. NSW, ACT, Vic. and Tas. Also introduced in South Australia. Good for establishing a new garden, and stabilising sloping sites.
